Ryan L. McGrath BPhysio(Hons), GradDipPsych, PhD

Ryan is a physiotherapist, researcher, and clinical educator. Ryan's research and clinical interests lie in the intersection of physical and mental health, and rural health.

Ryan holds the position of Allied Health Research and Knowledge Translation Lead at Goulburn Valley Health, Rural Health Academic Coordinator and Physiotherapy Educator at The University of Melbourne, and practises clinically in community health. He is an Associate Editor with Physiotherapy Theory and Practice.

Ryan has published sixteen peer-reviewed articles and two editorials, on a range of topics, including physiotherapy, mental health, suicide prevention, pain management, and history of the physiotherapy profession. Ryan has presented webinars on psychologically-informed practice from a primary care and allied health perspective with organisations such as the Australian Physiotherapy Association, the Pain Revolution, the Knowledge Exchange, the University Centre of Rural Health, and the North Coast Allied Health Association.
